The Hochkönig (Maria Alm/Dienten/Mühlbach) was chosen as the test winner 2020 by Skiresort.de, the largest test portal for ski resorts. The 4.5-star ski resort can boast 5 out of 5 stars in the categories of slope offer, lifts and cable cars, slope preparation, mountain huts and gastronomy, family friendliness and snow park. Hygiene and cleanliness regulations are implemented throughout the ski area on the slopes, in lifts and mountain huts.
Excellently groomed slopes, modern lifts, cozy huts and good snow conditions from December to mid-April characterize the extensive ski area on the Hochkönig. 34 cable cars and lifts and 150 km of slopes at an altitude of 860 to 1900 m deep snow slopes, forest slopes, a varied touring area as well as cross-country ski trails with magnificent panoramic views. The cross-country ski trails are located at the Arthurhaus.

The ski pass is valid for the largest ski association in Austria, Ski Amadé, with a total of 800 km of slopes and 260 lifts.
The following regions belong to the Amadé Ski Association: Salzburg Sport World, Schladming-Dachstein, Tauern, Gastein, Hochkönig's Winter Kingdom and the Valley of Grossarl.
Our Aldiana Club Hochkönig is located only 2 minutes away from the valley station. A shuttle bus takes you directly there.

Ski school for adults and children from 4 years in groups (for a fee)
The ski instructors and childcare workers at the Mühlbach Ski School teach the various snow sports according to the most modern methods and curricula. Of course safety is the top priority. In addition to group courses private lessons are also offered.

The courses take place in small groups composed according to ability. Our snowboard instructors will help beginners and advanced riders with tips and tricks to the side and prepare you for the slopes.
Blue Tomato Kings Park
